Elders Gardner and Ahotau make the paper!

Hello Bro. and Sis. Gardner--

Today in our local newspaper, the Hawaii Tribune Herald, there was an article about the weather with a quote from Elder Gardner!  Thought you might like a copy.

We have been having tons of rain lately as Elder Gardner has probably told you.  Of course, here in Hawaii, winter is our rainy season and after a couple of drier than normal winters, this one has been a bit of a change.  Hilo normally gets something like 120 inches of rain annually.  It has also been much colder than normal for this time of year.  When we first moved to Hawaii some 8 or so years ago, I laughed when I saw flannel pajamas for sale in Macy's.  But I laugh no more.  We have had to wear the flannel pjs and put the flannel sheets on the bed even though it gets into the low 60s at night.  That would be warm in the place in Utah where I used to live.   Humidity makes all the difference in the world.
Mele Kalikimaka to you and your family,
